The Project

Making wine is not complicated. It is only necessary to have a good grape coming, if possible, from vines that are many years old and with the appropriate oenological knowledge , the result of adequate academic preparation and experience.

One way to do it is by doing it. We started with our experiments with small amounts intended for family consumption. We started more than a decade ago, although the cultivation of the vine had been present in the family for countless generations. Guided by friendly oenologists, we learned the basics of pressing, fermenting, pressing and controlling the processes. The barn of Uncle Domingo's house in the heart of the Ribera del Duero was our first laboratory. The conditions were not the most desirable, but our enthusiasm and desire to learn overcame all adversity. Today we could call it "garage wine", although it was conceived in an old house where meat was once dispatched, and whose floors on the upper floor have enough slope to scare the most temperate. Of course, the underground cellar is worthy of the most select wines.

A few years ago we decided to dedicate our entire limited harvest to the production of our own wine in a winery, so that it could reach your glass. For us it is very exciting to think that the fruit of our land and our work rests in barrels for months and can arrive anywhere in the world in a bottle. This is how we dream it and this is how we hope it will come true.
